Ronald Howard was recommended to us by 3D Builders when their first house designer was found to be lacking in ability and vision. While Ron is not an architect, he quickly proved to be an extremely capable and talented designer for our custom home in Maui.

Ron was exceptionally good at understanding our very specific needs and developing a vision of our new home. One or Ron's greatest abilities is the artistic blending of the practical design of building a home with desired aesthetics and knowledge of Hawaiian architecture. Ron had the ability of quickly understanding our tastes and needs, and making great suggestions that precisely matched our desires.

Many designers can throw together a livable floor plan and design a house that will stay up in a strong wind, but Ron created a beautiful one-of-a-kind custom home with coordinated Hawaiian themes that was cost effective to build and comfortable to live in. Ron is a talented artist who understands the building process, and gifted in special perception. We found Ron to be intelligent, pragmatic, professional, and 3D Builders said he produced the cleanest set of house plans they had ever seen.

We dealt with at least 50 people while building our home in Maui. Most were very good and hard working, but Ronald Howard stands out for his keen artistic vision and strong practical knowledge of home design.
